Its a new year and we are working on or testing quite a lot of extra functionality for Holiday Site Builder that should be released over the next month:
- New web statistics to complement the current statistics software.
Several people asked for Google Analytics and one person has asked for the free version of Shinystat (www.shinystat.com) and we are working on implementing both now.
- Affiliate Scheme for current owners
Our best source of new customers is our current customers. We are in the testing stages for a new affiliate scheme that will allow current customers to give friends a promotion code that will give both parties a discount.
- Price ranges
One of our customers wanted price ranges instead of exact pricing, so we are working on the functionality now.
- New "Simple" Templates
Although everyone seems to love our current range of templates, some people have said they wanted some simpler styles with less graphics and colours. The next few templates we design will be far simpler and cleaner than the current set.
- Testimonial Page
Send in any testimonials via email and you will receive a link to your site on the new Holiday Site Builder testimonial page.
- SEO Tab
For those that are interested in getting to the top of the Google results, we have almost finished a new SEO Tab that will guide you though the process of "Search Engine Optimisation" of your site.
- More space for text
We only restrict text for layout reasons as some pages would look strange with huge chunks of text. However, a few people have complained about the restricted space for text. We are working on increasing the limits for text on certain pages without damaging the aesthetic look and feel of the sites created with Holiday Site Builder.
